Dubious Positions And How to Attack Them Boards 045-046

Boards 42 to 52 make up Chapter 4 which deals the Central Cannon vs. Sandwiched Horse Defense. Again,the authors have presented various dubious positions that are quite often seen in OTB or online games. There were no holds barred in their discussions and analyses. The Webmaster has found the boards extremely practical.

The author is extremely grateful to have obtained the permission from Grandmaster Zhang Qiang and Master Yan Wenqing to translate their work and present them to the English speaking world.

As mentioned earlier, Chapter 4 discusses the Sandwichd Horse Horse Defense. In boards 44 and 45, the opening system discussed is the Central Cannon with 3rd Pawn Advancement vs. Sandwiched Horse Defense.
