This opening system is perhaps oldest opening system there is in Xiangqi. The very first board in the Secret in the Tangerine dealt with this theme. In "Opening Tabia" Master Yan Wenqing and Grandmaster Zhang Qiang demonstrated some of the newer ways of playing this opening system. It is a must learn topic for ALL Xiangqi players.
